KCM, in partnership with Village Water Zambia, progressed solar-powered water schemes, rehabilitated 40 boreholes, and drilled 17 new boreholes, improving access to safe water for 39,000+ people across its operational areas and strengthening household livelihoods and community resilience.

KCM, in partnership with ALLPI, has trained 150 youths in leather production and established a workshop in Chingola under its US$120,000 Leather Goods Project. The initiative has grown into a sustainable business creating jobs, with plans to expand to Chingola, Chililabombwe, and Kitwe.

KCM, in partnership with Green Initiative Zambia, has planted 85,000 trees across its operational districts this planting season, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability through community- and school-based conservation initiatives.
